Women

Women's Ministry

Deeply Rooted exists to inspire, equip, support and disciple women to live in God's purpose as we:

Seek Jesus together - Prov. 8:17 "I love those who love Me, and those who diligently seek Me will find Me."
Create opportunities to come together to refresh and encourage one other in love and unity - Phil. 2:2 "then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind."
Transform lives as we become more like Christ - 2 Cor. 3:18 "And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."

Leaders

Wendy has been a Christian for almost 30 years and has served in Women’s Ministry, in some capacity, throughout the majority of those years. She has volunteered in Womens Ministries as a new believer, served as a small group leader, and then joined the Discipleship Ministry by discipling other women one-on-one. After spending two years discipling, she was asked to lead a discipleship training for other leaders. Wendy has facilitated and taught many Bible studies, has been a guest speaker at various women’s events in both Florida and Vermont and was the Women’s Ministry Director for nine years at her last home church prior to coming to Crossroads. Wendy loves leading women into a closer walk with Jesus and is looking forward to serving the women here at Crossroads.
Renee is the wife to the current Lead Pastor of Crossroads and mother of three children.  She has served in the Women’s Ministry in various ways since 2014.  Renee has a heart for all people but there is a special place in her heart for women.  She naturally encourages, loves, and accepts women just as they are.  She enjoys creating opportunities to help women build Godly relationships with each other, and to deepen their relationship with Jesus.  She also enjoys helping women discover what their strengths and gifts are and encourages them to step out in faith to be used by God, for Kingdom purposes.
