Worship Jesus
As a church we strive to worship Jesus in all that we do.
When people say worship, our first thought is about singing, but worship is singing and so much more. Our church loves to sing, but also welcomes those who participate in worship by listening and contemplating the words internally.
Worship also happens by the preaching of the Word. In this sense, Crossroads is about lifting up the name of Jesus through the preaching time as much as the time spent singing. Our main time for worship is on Sunday mornings, but we also look for opportunities to join other churches in worship at concerts or other community events.

Grow in our Faith in Jesus
As someone who believes in Jesus, we are called to grow daily in our faith. The big question is how do we do that?
While some believe that they can attain this goal by themselves, this happens best with others. As a church we have a steady flow of Bible Studies and group meetings that take place over the course of the year. If there is a need for other studies or suggestions for additional studies we are open to that.
Our Children's, Men's and Women's ministry teams are focused on providing specific opportunities for growth in faith in Jesus. Look on our groups page and events page for meetings that are scheduled.

Serve other for Jesus
Paul writes in Ephesians 2:8-9:
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
"Doing stuff" for Jesus is not required for salvation, but "doing stuff" for Jesus should come out of our overwhelming gratefulness for what God has done for us through Jesus.
This is where serving comes in. As a church, we keep an eye out for people who are in need and when possible, meet that need in the name of Jesus. Sometimes this happens within our church body, and other times it happens as a result of partnering with ministries like Connecting Hope.

Tell others about Jesus
What does the word evangelism mean? For some it might mean bringing others to the point of salvation in Jesus. While that is a admirable goal, that is not our job. Jesus calls us to share the reason for our faith (1 Peter 3:15). God does the rest.
Evangelism is simply telling others about Jesus. This happens best by sharing one's own personal testimony of faith in Jesus. In sharing a personal testimony, a simple structure works best:
From there, we prayerful leave the rest up to God. He ultimately draws people and saves them...not us. We often get the joy of witnessing this process and being a part, but God does the work.

- How did I meet Jesus?
- How am I different because of Jesus?
